29 CFR 1926.304(f): Section 4.1.2(a) American National Standards Institute 01.1-1961, Safety Code for Woodworking Machinery as adopted by 29 CFR 1926.304(f): Circular hand-fed rip saws were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely encloses that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut:       a) On or about January 6, 2021, an Hitachi C10FR table saw was not equipped with a blade guard when used to rip wood.       In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:    a) On or about January 6, 2021, employees were exposed to eye injury while operating electric saws and pneumatic nail guns without the benefit of eye protection.  Bros Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1193361, citation 1, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on February 21, 2017, with respect to a worksite located at 3809 Kirk Street, Skokie, Illinois.    No abatement certification or documentation required for this violation.

Bros Construction, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1193361, citation 1, item 3, and was affirmed as a final order on February 21, 2017, with respect to a worksite located at 3809 Kirk Street, Skokie, Illinois.   No abatement certification or documentation required for this violation.
