29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16)(iii):Personal fall arrest systems, were not rigged such that an employee can neither free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m), nor contact any lower level: 1 College St., Worcester, MA - College of the Holy Cross Campus: On or about January 6, 2021, an employee was observed roofing the portico at this building more than 12 feet above the ground below and his Personal Fall Arrest System was rigged such that the employee could free fall more than 12 feet and allowed for contact with the lower level. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29CFR1903.19(d)(1).
