29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. At the new construction site located at 7704 Nemours PKWY, Orlando FL., two employees were exposed to fall hazards on or about January 12, 2021, while laying decking down on balcony approximately 12 feet high, with missing guardrails and no fall protection provided. The Siding Sa Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1139327, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 28, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 13739 Granger Ave. Lot 189, Orlando, FL 32827.
