OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) Mechanic Shop: On or about January 14, 2021, and at times prior, employees were exposed to impact hazards associated with flying debris, in that the employer transported compressed air via above ground polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipes to energize pneumatic hand tools used by mechanics in the performance of their assigned job duties.

Maintenance Shop: On or about January 14, 2021, and at times prior, employees were exposed to electrical hazards, in that the employer did not replace, repair or remove from service electrical extension cords which had damaged outer jackets and were used by employees to provide power to a mobile propane heater equipped with an electric blower motor.
