29 CFR 1910.23(b)(8): The employer did not ensure that ladders are used only for the purposes for which they were designed. a) J&J Snack Foods Corp. - Outside Cheese Room: A sanitation employee had access and climbed a ladder that is used exclusively on the Rheon Equipment and not intended for general use. The ladders were not secured to prevent employees from using them. The sanitation employee climbed the unsecured ladder, loss his balance and fell to the ground, occurred on 01/16/2021.
