29 CFR 1926.416(e)(1): Worn or frayed electric cords or cables shall not be used: a) On or about January 13, 2021, front of site, employees engaged in framing operations were using an extension cord that was worn and frayed. The extension cord was connected to a Dewalt chop saw. b) On or about January 13, 2021, front of site, employees engaged in framing operations were using a Dewalt chop saw to cut pieces of wood. The power cord to the saw was worn and frayed.
