Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toe-boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) On or about January 19, 2021, employees were exposed to a 12.5 ft. fall hazard while performing framing work on a commercial roof top and not using any means of conventional fall protection.
