29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1):The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.   A) On or about January 28, 2021 at 172 Main Street, South Glastonbury, CT job site:   Employer did not ensure that each  employee used appropriate eye and/or face protection.   Roofers were using pneumatic nail guns without wearing eye protection , exposing them to eye or face injury caused by flying nails and particles.

A) On or about January 28, 2021,  172 Main Street, South Glastonbury, CT job site:    The employer did not ensure that the side rails of a ladder used to access the upper landing surface of the roof, to the right of the entry door, extended at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface.
