29 CFR 1926.600(a)(3)(i): Bulldozer and scraper blades, end-loader buckets, dump bodies, and similar equipment were not either fully lowered or blocked when being repaired or when not in use. All controls were not in a neutral position, with the motors stopped and brakes set, unless work being performed requires otherwise. a) On or about January 28, 2021, the employer did not effectively ensure that a bulldozer's blades and rippers were fully lowered or blocked, with all controls were in a neutral position, the motors stopped and brakes set when not in use and when the operator left the equipment's was not at the equipment's controls, exposing employees to struck by and crush by hazards.
