29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):"Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. On or about January 21, 2021, employees were observed working on structural framing of a single family home without the use of PFAS or protected by any other form of fall protection system at an approximate height of 11.7 ft. at a job site located at 1204 Arbor Creek Dr. Strongsville, OH 44136. Troyer's Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.501(b) (13) Duty to have fall protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1385605, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/02/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 41.3193, -81.79, Strongsville, OH 44136.
