29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): (a) On or about February 2, 2021, employees were exposed to laceration hazard and amputation injury while working on and around the Grob Inc. Vertical Bandsaw(Model #4V-24 and Serial #2294). The employer did not ensure the unused portion of the saw blade was properly guarded. (b) On or about February 2, 2021, employees were exposed to laceration hazard and amputation injury while working on and around the Bystronic Press Brake (Model #Xpert 320). The employer did not ensure the point of operation was properly guarded, in-that the safety eye proximity device was de-activated.
