29 CFR  1910.28(b)(1)(i):The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system:  (a)Rushmore Forest Products, Inc. at 23848 Hwy 385, Hill City, SD 57745: On or about and at times prior to January 28, 2021, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from fall hazards while walking/working on the tilt hoist in-feed walkway. Employees were exposed to a fall hazard associated with a section of missing guardrail on the walkway in close proximity to the tilt hoist.  This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately five-foot eight-inches.
