29 CFR 1926.20(b)(4): The employer shall permit only those employees qualified by training or experience to operate equipment and machinery were qualified by training or experience: a) Lennar Homes, 500 176th Ave, Broomfield, CO 80023: On and before February 4, 2021, the controlling employer did not ensure that 13 subcontracted employees were protected from injury, in that employees were observed conducting framing operations on a new residential construction without the use of personal fall arrest systems. The employer did not protect employees against falls at heights over 10 feet. This condition exposes to employees to head injuries and broken bones. b) Lennar Homes, 500 176th Ave, Broomfield, CO 80023: On and before February 4, 2021, the controlling employer did not ensure that five subcontracted employees were protected from injury, in that portable extension ladders, used to access the first level a residential home, had side rails extending 3 feet above the upper landing, and was secured. The employer did not protect employees against falls at heights over 10 feet. This condition exposes to employees to head injuries and broken bones. c) Lennar Homes, 500 176th Ave, Broomfield, CO 80023: On and before February 4, 2021, the controlling employer did not ensure that subcontracted employees were protected from injury, in that three sub contracted employees were observed conducting framing operations on a new residential construction without the use of eye or face protection operating pneumatic nail guns. The employer did not protect employees against hazards from flying objects. This condition exposed employees to projectile hazards to the eyes.
