29 CFR 1910.132(a):Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: At a worksite located at 1921 W. US-HWY 50 LONE JACK, MO, employees on the production area were exposed to struck by and puncture injuries. Meat cutters using sharp deboning knives to cut beef away from the bones on the production floor in the deboning area, were not required to wear PPE including but not limited to employer provided mesh aprons to protect against lacerations, cuts and puncture wounds.
