29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  At the jobsite located at 2635 S Iron Stone, KS, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately twenty feet to the ground below in that fall protection was not provided.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:  Employees engaged in residential framing activities at the jobsites located at 2635 S Iron Stone in Wichita, KS, were exposed to falls from approximately 12 feet from the working platform to the ground below, in that the aluminum ladder used to access the roof did not extend 3 feet from the eave of the roof.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  At the jobsite located at 2635 S Iron Stone, Wichita, KS, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to struck-by hazards, employees were not wearing any eye protection while using pneumatic nail guns.  The Vela's Framing & Remodeling LLC  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (name previously cited standard), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1495530, citation number 1,  item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/20/20, with respect to a workplace located at 1209 Summer Chase Ct, Derby, KS.
