On or about February 9, 2021, at the site of a building located on 4507 W. Davis Street in Conroe, TX, an employee was exposed to fall hazards when accessing a canopy area from a Genie aerial lift basket without fall protection system.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about February 9, 2021, at the site of a building located on 4507 W. Davis Street in Conroe, TX, an employee was exposed to fall hazards exceeding 6 feet while installing drain holes on a canopy attached to the building surface without fall protection.
