29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries.  Ash Mountain Maintenance Facility: One fire extinguishers was not mounted on the provided bracket.. The fire extinguisher was placed on the floor outside the Automotive Shop exposing employees to both tripping and smoke inhalation.     The National Park Service - Sequoia & Kings Canyon was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1165293, citation number 03, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/06/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 47050 Generals Highway, Three Rivers, CA 93271 (Ash Mountain Maintenance Facility).  The National Park Service - Sequoia & Kings Canyon was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1165213, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/06/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 47050 Generals Highway, Three Rivers, CA 93271 (Wolverton Water Treatment Facility).  The National Park Service - Sequoia & Kings Canyon was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1165199, citation number 03, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/06/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 64600 Generals Highway, CA 93271 (Red Fir Facility).

The U.S. National Park service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1164977, notice number 02, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/06/202016, with respect to a workplace located at Grant Grove, 83715 Park Road, Kings Canyon, CA. 93633.

Employees were exposed to point of operation and flying debris hazards.
