29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) At the wood truss manufacturing shop, located at 4005 Maronda Way, Sanford, FL: On or about February 23, 2021, employees were exposed to caught-in-between, crushing, and amputation hazards when next to Omni Saw Machine #1 serial number A02k5319, in that; the equipment had exposed over extending bolts and rotating parts that were not guarded. b) At the wood truss manufacturing shop, located at 4005 Maronda Way, Sanford, FL: On or about February 24, 2021, an employee was exposed to caught-in-between, crushing, and amputation hazards when next to Omni Saw Machine #2 serial number S02k633318, in that; the equipment had exposed over extending bolts and rotating parts that were not guarded.
