29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about February 24, 2021, two employees were performing roofing activities on a residence under construction without the use of fall protection, exposing them to a fall hazard of approximately 41 feet to the ground.

9 CFR 1926.503(a)(2):The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii). On or about February 24, 2021, two employees were performing roofing activities on a residence under construction without the use of fall protection, exposing them to a fall hazard of approximately 41 feet to the ground. The employees were not trained by a competent person that is qualified to meet the requirements on how to recognize and protect themselves from the dangers of falling.
