29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. On or about February 24, 2021, west side of site, employees engaged in residential construction were observed operating a pneumatic nail gun (name and serial no. unclear) without eye protection. The employees were framing up the walls to a residential home.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about February 24, 2021, west side of site, employees engaged in framing up a new residential home were observed working at a height of approximately 9 feet without fall protection. The employee(s) were framing up the walls and was observed standing on a piece of 2x4 lumber approximately 9 feet high.
