29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  On or about March 8, 2021, employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 11 feet while performing roofing activities on a residential home located on lot#217 Amberley Drive, Uniontown, Ohio 44685.  The employees were using an extension ladder that did not extend three feet above the landing area.   Delrios Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1147131,  citation number 1,  item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on 7/21/16, with respect to a workplace located at 2150 Championship Cir., Massillon, Ohio 44646.
