29 CFR 1926.403(e):All splices and joints and free ends of conductors were not covered with insulation equivalent to that of the conductors or with an insulating device designed for the purpose: a) On or about March 9, 2021, while on the roof, an electrical cord powering a saw had splices wrapped with tape that did not provide an adequate barrier to moisture or an insulation equivalent to that of the conductor.
