On March 9, 2021 at the jobsite located at 4434 Washington St. Kansas City, MO: Four employees on the second floor were exposed to fall hazards. Employees were working from a height of approximately 10 feet while transporting framing materials over a ceiling joist system set 16" apart in that the walking working surfaces were not protected.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(20):Employees did not face the ladder when ascending or descending the ladder: On March 9, 2021 at the jobsite located at 4434 Washington St. Kansas City MO: A framing employee egressing the work site was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 ft by not facing the ladder while descending. Employee was observed descending the main ladder of the site forward like descending regular steps towards the ground level of the construction.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On March 9, 2021, at 4434 Washington St. Kansas City, MO: Four employees were exposed to fall hazards of up to approximately 10 ft while performing framing work on the second level of the project in that fall protection was not provided. The employees were transporting framing materials on an unprotected edge and were not secured to an anchoring device. The employer was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1461300, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/17/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1770 Diamond Parkway, North Kansas City, Missouri.
