29 CFR 1926.851(b):All stairs, passageways, ladders and incidental equipment thereto, which are covered by this section, shall be periodically inspected and maintained in a clean safe condition. a) On or about March 10, 2021 on the 15th floor, the employer had not maintained passageways and ladders in a safe condition in that trash, piping, vents, stacked ladders, and a tool bag were located in the main passageway and at the access on and off of a ladder exposing employees to trip and fall hazards.
