29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: (a) This violation occurred on or about March 10, 2021, at the job-site located at 2061 Hartley Drive, Forney, TX; where employees were framing a new residential single family house and were exposed to head injuries where overhead hazard exists by not wearing hard hats. CARLOS CASTRO MALDONADO WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 1926.100 (a) OR ITS EQUIVALENT WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1504931, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM 1A THAT WAS ISSUED ON December 10, 2020 WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 2004 BONTE DRIVE, FORNEY, TX. 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: (a) This violation occurred on or about March 10, 2021, at the job-site located at 2061 Hartley Drive, Forney, TX; where employees were doing framing work while using nail guns, name, model and serial number could not be recognized. Employees were not wearing safety glasses and were exposed to eye injuries.
