Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a) Anthony's Painting Designs Inc., at a jobsite located at 11618 Orchid Hill Drive, Plain City, Ohio 43064: On and/or preceding March 23, 2021, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while engaged in residential construction activities. An employee was caulking the trim of the second story while working from the porch roof. The employee did not have any means of fall protection, thereby exposed to fall hazards of up to 10 feet, 6 inches.
