29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: A) On or about March 24, 2021 at 1179 Main Street, South Glastonbury, CT job site: Employer used a 32 feet long aluminum extension ladder, to access to the upper landing surface. The ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface. The newly constructed roof ridge was approximately 16 feet to the ground level below.
