29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: On or about March 23, 2021, employees were exposed to a struck by hazard while performing roofing activities on a residential home located at 328 Storer, Akron, Ohio 44302. Employees were working on the roof above an employee on the ground with tools and materials that could have fallen and the employer did not ensure that the lower employee was wearing a protective helmet. Roofing Better Builds was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.100(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1490175, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 2/10/21, with respect to a workplace located at 2043 Aurther, Lakewood, Ohio 44107.
