1926.20(b)(2)  Such programs shall provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers. 29 CFR  1926.502(g)(1): When a controlled access zone was used to control access where leading edge and other operations are taking place the controlled access zone was not defined by a control line or other means that restrict access.  On or about March 22, 2021, the employer did not ensure control access zones to stairways were inaccessible to workers, exposing the workers to the hazard of falling to a lower level at heights of 6 feet or greater.
