The top edge height may exceed 45 inches (114 cm), provided the guardrail system meets all other criteria of paragraph (b) of this section (see Figure D11 of this section). a) 93 W. Campbell Road, Schenectady, NY- On or about March 19, 2021, employees were utilizing a work platform with a guardrail top rail approximately 27 inches above the walking-working surface, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of approximately of seven (7) feet.
