29 CFR  1910.1200(g)(8):  The employer did not ensure that Safety Data Sheets were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s)  SEED FARM ROAD: Employees who work with chemicals including Weatherproofing Sealant and Isopropanol did not have immediate or direct access to Safety Data Sheets while at the construction site and had to ask for copies from management, exposing employees to hazards from improper use or contact with chemicals.

29 CFR  1910.1200(e)(1):The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:  a)	SEED FARM ROAD: The Hazard Communication Program had not been updated to reflect the changes made under the revised 1910.1200 Final Rule and appendices, which was updated to align with the UN Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS), Revision 3, issued in the Federal Register, March 26, 2012 and effective May 25, 2012.  The written program did not contain a list of the hazardous chemicals used in the workplace under 1910.1200(e)(1)(i).   b)	SEED FARM ROAD: The Hazard Communication Program had not been updated to reflect the changes made under the revised 1910.1200 Final Rule and appendices, which was updated to align with the UN Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS), Revision 3, issued in the Federal Register, March 26, 2012 and effective May 25, 2012.  The written program did not contain the section numbers and headings, and associated information required on the SDS under 1910.1200(g)(2).   c)	SEED FARM ROAD: The Hazard Communication Program had not been updated to reflect the changes made under the revised 1910.1200 Final Rule and appendices, which was updated to align with the UN Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS), Revision 3, issued in the Federal Register, March 26, 2012 and effective May 25, 2012.  The written program did not contain information on the use or meaning or pictograms.  d)	 SEED FARM ROAD: The Hazard Communication Program did not include information on how employees working at remote or temporary worksite will access safety data sheets.
