29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b). a) On or about April 1, 2021, at the previously addressed job site, employees engaged in residential framing including installing roof sheathing at heights greater than 6 feet to the lower level were not protected by fall protection, exposing the employees to falls. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. a) On or about April 1, 2021, at the previously addressed job site, employees engaged in residential framing including installing roof sheathing and trusses, were exposed to falls and a training program was not provided to the employees by the employer. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
