29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: CSHO observed on two previous days 04/09/21 & 04/10/21 continued instances of employees engaged in both framing and sheathing activities exposed to eye loss/eye injury hazards as a means of eye protection had not been utilized: a- 26 Durante Road, Wyckoff NJ : An employee engaged in framing activities using a Dewalt Sawzall was exposed to eye loss/eye injuries due to struck by hazards as sunglasses were being used as a means of eye protection as safety glasses had not been utilized. Condition noted on or about 04/09/2021 b- 26 Durante Road, Wyckoff NJ : Employees engaged in sheathing activities using a Bostich pneumatic nail gun were exposed to eye loss/eye injuries due to struck by hazards as a means of eye protection had not been utilized.
