29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program are understood by employees and that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls are acquired by employees. a) TFH Publications, Inc./ Nylabone Products - 85 West Sylvania Avenue, Neptune NJ 07753: The employer did not ensure that employees performing unclogging operations on the Maguire Weight Scale Bender located on top of the Injection blending/Molding Machine # 30 (IMM 30) were authorized to perform and aid on those operations. Employees were not performing LO/TO operations which cause a partial amputation of a finger, occurred on or about April 16, 2021.
