29 CFR  1926.501(b)(14): Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings (including those with chutes attached), where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening is less than 39 inches (1.0 M) above the walking/working surface, is not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system.  Jobsite: The employer did not ensure that employees who were taping drywall near wall openings were protected from fall hazards.

29 CFR  1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  Jobsite:  The employer did not ensure that the employees who were exposed to fall hazards while taping drywall near the unprotected wall openings were trained in fall hazards and the procedures to be followed to minimize such hazards.

29 CFR  1926.1052(b)(1): Foot traffic was not prohibited on stairways where the treads and/or landings of pan stairs were to be filled in with concrete or other material at a later date and stairs were not temporarily fitted with wood or other solid material at least to the top edge of each pan.  Jobsite: The employer did not prohibit the employees from using the stairway from the first to the third floor which had stair pans that were not filled and exposed the employees to slips and trips.

Jobsite: The employer did not prohibit the employees from using the stairway from the first to the third floor which had no handrails and exposed the employees to slips and trips.
