29 CFR 1926.502(d)(17):The attachment point of the body belt was not located in the center of the wearer's back. The attachment point of the body harness was not located in the center of the wearer's back near shoulder level, or above the wearer's head. On or about April 21, 2021, employees performing work at heights had their lanyards attached to the front side of their harnesses, exposing employee to the hazards and injuries associated with using a personal fall arrest systems improperly. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
