29 CFR 1926.1153(c)(1):Specified exposure control methods. For each employee engaged in a task identified on Table 1, the employer shall fully and properly implement the engineering controls, work practices, and respiratory protection specified for the task on Table 1, unless the employer assesses and limits the exposure of the employee to respirable crystalline silica in accordance with paragraph (d) of this section: a) Second floor, chase between bathrooms B-215 and B-216, on or about 4-22-21: Two employees were involved in a concrete drilling operation, using a tool that was not equipped with a commercially available shroud or cowling and a dust collection system to minimize dust emissions, in accordance with paragraph vii of Table 1. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM
