Employees engaged in masonry activities, placing concrete for the foundations walls, walked the tops of the 9 foot form panels without any means of fall protection. Violation observed on or about April 28 , 2021

29 CFR 1926.701(b):All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: a. 3456 U.S. 22 West, Branchburg, NJ - Fox Hollow at Branchburg, Building 9 - Forms walls. The employer did not ensure all exposed rebar was capped. Employees engaged in masonry/concrete activities used lumber and rebar stakes as a means to brace the foundation forms as the concrete was being poured and did not cap the rebar used with the bracing. Violation observed on or about April 28, 2021
