29 CFR 1926.95(a): Protective equipment, including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, and extremities, protective clothing, respiratory devices, and protective shields and barriers, were not provided: On or about 28 April 2021, Puerto Rico Air National Guard Base, Carolina, PR. At the back of the FIGNA building, employees engaged on construction operations were observed performing light construction tasks such as light demolition on the building's walls and light masonry without gloves, hard hats, eye glasses and safety shoes. NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.
