29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1):The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): a) Brost Foundry Co., doing business as CSM Horvath Foundry Ledgebrook located at 198 Wayne Street Mansfield, Ohio 44902: On or about April 14, 2021 the employer did not ensure that a hazard assessment identifying hazards present or likely to be present was conducted prior to employees engaging in operations such as but not limited to, shakeout. Employees were exposed to crushing and laceration hazards.
