29 CFR 1910.1025(h)(1):All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead: CSM Horvath Ledgebrook, DBA Brost Foundry, on or about April 29th, 2021, at the location of 198 Wayne Street, Mansfield, OH, 44902: The employer did not ensure that surfaces were kept as free as practicable of lead. The bench on the clean side of the employee change room was found to have 59.1480 micrograms in an approximately 100 cubic centimeter area. Surface lead in an area expected to be clean could be carried with employees home or into the break room and become an ingestion hazard.

29 CFR 1910.1027(d)(1)(i): The employer did not determine whether any employee was exposed to cadmium at or above the action level: CSM Horvath Ledgebrook, DBA Brost Foundry, on or about August 12th, 2021, at the location of 198 Wayne Street, Mansfield, OH, 44902: Employees were exposed to cadmium in levels below the OSHA PEL and action level; however, the employer made no initial determination of exposure. An employee was found to be exposed to 0.27 micrograms per cubic meter of cadmium for an 8-hour TWA. Cadmium is a known carcinogen.
