OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to amputation hazards. (a) CKS at 6145 Purdue Dr. : On or about 4/15/2021 and at times prior, employees were exposed to amputation hazards in that employees were servicing a Marley SPX Cooling Tower (MD 60163AC2LOBE MDI0069806-A1 2013) by replacing a V Belt (V 4RBX144) and did not adjust the pulley to remove tension prior to belt placement.
