29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) At 2688 Quartz Ave., Bentley Oaks, Cantonment, Florida: On or about May 3, 2021 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to perform solar panel maintenance from a high pitch roof without fall protection exposing his employees to a fall hazard of 9 feet 5 inches to the ground below. The PV Micropower, LLC dba SunFarm Energy was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1763681, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 3, 2020 with respect to a workplace located at 9508 Tower Ridge Road, Pensacola, Florida.
