29 CFR  1910.134(a)(2):A respirator was not provided by the employer to each employee when such equipment was necessary to protect the health of the employee:  a)  KVC Hospitals Kansas City located at 4300 Brenner Drive, Kansas City, Kansas 66104:  On or about May 4th, 2021 employees who rendered care to COVID-19 positive patients were not provided with respirators for protection against aerosolized SARS-CoV-2 virus.  At a minimum, an N95 NIOSH-certified filtering facepiece respirator is necessary to protect employees from aerosolized SARS-CoV-2 virus.
