29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces are maintained free of hazards such as sharp or protruding objects, loose boards, corrosion, leaks, spills, snow, and ice. On or about February 3, 2021, an employees was exposed to tripping hazards when working from a flatbed trailer deck to position rigging straps under steel tubing and the employer did not eliminate the tripping hazard created when lumber protruded into the walking-working surface from under the steel tubing.
