29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program were understood by authorized, affected, and other employees and that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls were acquired by authorized employees: a) Production areas / conveyors: On or about May 4, 2021 the employer failed to provide training to employees on the hazards associated with the release of stored energy such as, but not limited to, electrical and kinetic, when performing service, maintenance, and cleaning activities on machines and systems such as, but not limited to the conveyor machines. b) Production areas / conveyors: On or about May 4, 2021 the employer failed to provide training to authorized employees on the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control. c) Production areas / conveyors: On or about May 4, 2021 the employer failed to provide training to affected employees on the purpose and use of the energy control procedure. 1910.147(c)(7)(i)[B] d) Production areas / conveyors: On or about May 4, 2021 the employer failed to provide training to all other employees whos work in areas where energy control procedures may be utilized, about the procedure, and about the prohibition relating to attempts to restart or reenergize machines or equipment which are locked or tagged out. 1910.147(c)(7)(i)[C]
