Labels and other forms of warning as specified in paragraph 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), 2. Safety Data Sheets as specified in paragraph 29 CFR 1910.1200(g), 3. 29 CFR  1910.1200(h)(1):Employers shall provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new chemical hazard the employees have not previously been trained about is introduced into their work area. Information and training may be designed to cover categories of hazards (e.g., flammability, carcinogenicity) or specific chemicals. Chemical-specific information must always be available through labels and safety data sheets.  Veterans Park at 303 Gartner Naperville, IL 60540:  On or about May 5, 2021, employees were exposed to hazards associated with silica dust, while being required to dry-cut brick to build a patio. 29 CFR  1910.134(c)(1):  A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i)-(ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established an implemented for required respirator use:  Veterans Park at 303 Gartner Naperville, IL 60540:  On or about May 5, 2021, employees were exposed to respiratory stressors associated with being required to wear 3M half-face tight-fitting respirators and/or dust masks (filtering facepieces). Employees were allowed to wear respirators while performing tasks such as, but not limited to, dry-cutting on Holland Stone Paver  Brick while being exposed to dust hazards that could potentially contain silica. The employer did not develop and implement a written respiratory protection program that included medical evaluations, annual fit testing, and training requirements prior to respirator use onsite.  Abatement documentation is required this item in accordance 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
