29 CFR  1926.20(b)(2):Such programs shall provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers.  On or about May 5, 2021 employees were exposed to fall hazards and the employer did not ensure that the jobsite was frequently and regularly inspected by a competent person.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a)  On or about May 5, 2021 employees were exposed to fall hazards while framing the roof of a 3 story apartment building and the employer did not ensure that appropriate fall protection was utilized.  b) On or about May 5, 2021 an employee was exposed to a fall hazard while walking across a plank that was used to span the breezeway on the third floor, between two buildings and the employer did not ensure that appropriate fall protection was utilized.
