29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. (a) On or about May 7, 2021, employees conducting roofing activities on a flat roof were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees working on the lower roof to a fall hazard of approximately 18 feet to the lower level. (b) On or about May 7, 2021, employees conducting roofing activities on a flat roof were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees working on the upper roof to a fall hazard of approximately 50 feet (5 story) to the lower level and 32 feet to the lower roof level.
