29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step:  (a)  CHA Framing, LLC at 2993 Furthermore Castle Rock, CO 80108: On or before 5/8/21 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that framing employees used a step ladder to access the trusses of a 2 story single family home. The step ladder was several feet below the surface that employees were working. Employees had to dangle down onto the top of the step ladder to climb down. These conditions exposed employees to a fall hazard of 10' onto concrete.   Abatement Note: Abatement Certification is required for this item. 29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   (a)  CHA Framing, LLC at 2993 Furthermore Castle Rock, CO 80108: On or before 5/8/21 the employer did not protect employees from injury in that framing employees did not use fall protection or other approved methods for working in and around trusses, joists and other unfinished framed sections of a new 2 story single family home. The unfinished stairwell was v=covered with wood, but not secured from accidental displacement. These conditions exposed employees to fall hazards of 10' onto concrete.   CHA Framing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1458866, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/5/20, with respect to a workplace located at 1811 Wingfeather Ln. Castle Rock, CO 80108.  CHA Framing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1432345, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 12/12/19, with respect to a workplace located at 1611 Pinion Wing Circle Castle Rock, CO 80108.
